Saheb Singh Verma's body brought to his residence

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) The body of former Delhi Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Saheb Singh Verma, who died in a road accident in Rajasthan today, was brought to his official residence here at 2000 hrs.

BJP President Rajnath Singh escorted the late leader's dead body to his official residence at 5 Tuglak Lane which bore the presence of various political workers across the party lines.

Slogans of ''Saheb Singh Verma amar rahe'' rented the air.

Among the leaders who accompanied the body were Delhi Mayor Arti Mehra, Delhi Minister Yoganand Shastri, and Senior BJP leader V K Malhotra. Various BJP councillors were also present to take a last glimpse of their departed leader.
