Saheb demise a personal loss to me: Modi

Ahmedabad, June 30 (UNI) ''I have lost a personal friend,'' said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today while condoling the death of former Delhi Chief Minister Saheb Singh Verma.

In a condolence message sent to the family members of Saheb Singh, Mr Modi said he had lost a close friend.

He also praised Verma as a gifted organiser and good administrator. As Union Labour Minister, he had done commendable work for workers and labourers, Mr Modi recalled in the message.
