'Raj CM's 'personal grudge' behind our harassment'

Lucknow, June 30: Holding the 'harassment' of the Gujjars emamatomg frp, a ''Personal grudge'' of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje Scindia, the All India Gujjar Mahasabha today asked the central government to provide the community adequate security cover.

Blaming the Rajasthan CM for implicating the people of the community in fake cases, Mahasabha General Secretary Mohd Hassan Gujjar alleged that a''personal grudge is the reason behind the CM's act.'' The Gujjar community is paying for not supporting Ms Scindia's son, who had contested the last Lok Sabha election from Jhalavad seat, he alleged.

The general secretary noted ''it is sad, the CM is putting the people of our community behind the bars and also targetting their property.'' The Gujjar leader further said they would stage a nationwide protest, if they are not provided with adequate security cover.
