Mauritius Prez takes Ayurvedic treatment in TN

Coimbatore, June 30 (UNI) Mauritius President Anirudh Jagnauth underwent ayurvedic treatment of ''Abhyangam'', an oil massage for head and body for rejunuvation at the Arya Vaidya Chikilsalaya Centre here today.

Its Medical Director Dr Raveendran told UNI that the Mauritius President, aged over 70 years, underwent a routine check up and took the treatment for rejunuvation of his body. He was likely to visit the hospital again after some time for treatment of his age-related diseases, he said.

Mr Jagnauth had come to the city along with his wife Sarojini Jagnauth on Wednesday on a private visit. They left for Kodaikkanal the same day.

After the treatment, they left for Chennai, he said.
