KR trains cancelled, rescheduled as rains lash Mumbai

Mumbai, June 30 (UNI) Konkan Railway (KR) today cancelled and rescheduled several trains leaving from Mumbai in view of the heavy downpour for the past 24 hours.

Konkan Railway has cancelled 104 Madgaon-CST Mandavi Express, 103 CST-Madgaon and 2052 Madgaon-Dadar Janashatabdi trains.

The 2617 Mangala Express from Ernakulam, that was off yesterday, has been rescheduled and is delayed by four-and-half hours.

Similarly, 6346 Trivandrum-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Netravati Express, off June 29 is late by two-and-a-half hours. The 0111 CST-Madgaon Kokankanya is running six hours late, KR official sources said.

KR5 Diva Sawantwadi passenger train off June 30 will be terminated at Chiplun, KR6 Sawantwadi-Diva passenger train off June 30 will be terminated at Ratnagiri.

The Konkan Railway has urged passengers to contact its helpline 10722 or visit the website: www.konkanrailway.com before embarking on their journey.
