Haryana govt to bring tehsil offices online
Rohtak, June 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that all tehsil offices would be brought online and posted on a website in next six months so as to improve their efficiency.
The Chief Minister was addressing a meeting of officers of district administration here after inaugurating a Rs 98 lakh newly constructed tehsil complex.
The Chief Minister, who also inaugurated the touch screen system in the tehsil office, said that the land records were being computerised so that the people easily get a copy of their land record. He went round the tehsil complex and appreciated the amenities provided there.
Haryana Revenue Minister, Capt Ajay Singh Yadav said that a pilot project of digitalisation of land records in Rohtak and Rewari districts has been forwarded to the Central Government for its approval and hoped that the Central Government would give its clearance shortly. He said that after the digitalisation it would be easy to check on computer the number of 'Khasra', 'Intqal' and 'Jamabandi'.
The computerisation of land record would first be completed at district level and then implemented in the entire state.
