Haryana Gov, CM shocked over Saheb Singh's sudden death
Chandigarh, June 30 (UNI) The Haryana Governor Dr A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today expressed shock and sorrow at the untimely death of former Chief Minister of Delhi Saheb Singh Verma in an accident in Rajasthan today.
In a message issued here today the Governor said that Mr Verma was a ''down-to-earth'' person who had always stood by the downtrodden in their times of peril.
Mr Hooda also expressed ''deep sorrow'' at the sudden death of the Bharatiya Janata Party leader and remembered the departed leader for his capable handling of various posts in the party and the administration.
Both the leaders have conveyed their heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family.
