Decolight gets order from Turkey for tiles

Rajkot, Jun 30: Morbi-based Decolight Ceramic has received an order of Rs 1.5 crore from Turkey for Granolite vitrifed tiles and pearl series of vitrified range.

According to a release here today, the order has been placed by Turkey's Tanislar Yapi Malz Insaat, Istanbuil for 71,000 sq mt Granolite vitrified tiles costing Rs 1.5 crore.

This is the company's maiden venture into the Turkish market.

Decolight ceramic plans to complete the order by the second week of July and is confident that this development will make a new hope in Indian ceramic industry and many more international orders will be received by the industry in times ahead, the release said.

The entire consignement will be despatched in a series of 55 containers.

According to Company Managing Director Girish Pethapara, the future of the creamic industries is very bright as the Central government's 10th Planning Commission is all set to feed Rs 20 lakh crores into infrastructural development sector in coming five years, it will witness a boom in the ceramic industries as the nation's infrstructure is going to be developed at a rapid pace in comparison with the last 20 years.
