Congress Sub-committees for MC polls constituted in Punjab

Chandigarh, June 30 (UNI) Punjab Congress President Shamsher Singh Dullo today constituted party sub-committees for the coming elections to municipal corporations in the state.

The sub-committees were constituted in respect of Municipal Corporations of Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Ludhiana and Bathinda.

District heads of Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes departments, Seva Dal and Minority Department will also be members of the respective sub-committees.

These sub-committees will give their observations to the State the Coordination Committee of the PPCC with respect to candidates and party's campaign strategy for these elections.
