Asom: CJ suspends District judge

Guwahati, Jun 30: Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court J Salameswar today suspended a District and Sessions Judge and the Registrar of the High Court.

The Chief Justice found District and Sessions judge of Tinsukia S P More guilty of releasing an accused without keeping any records of the case.

Similarly, he also found court registrar Roome Phukan and a filing assistant guilty of not keeping the system transparent and in order.
