Rajgarh, MP, June 30 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti today said her party would contest the next Madhya Pradesh assembly elections on its own.

''The BJS is aware of its strength and it would jump into the electoral fray on its own without entering into an alliance with any other party,'' Ms Bharti told reporters here.

She claimed the BJS was discharging the role of main opposition, as both the ruling BJP and the Congress were playing mixed politics.

Fielding of an ex-Congressman by the BJP during Shivpuri assembly by-election betrayed that there was no difference between the two parties.

Reiterating that she would not re-enter into the BJP, Ms Bharti urged party workers not to get perturbed by the false propaganda of herre rejoining the BJP.
