Advani's unsigned statement to PM is regrettable: Dasmunsi

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi expressed deep regret that the statutory office of the honorable Leader of the Opposition was being marginalised following the issuance of unsigned statement by Mr L K Advani to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Addressing mediapersons here today, Mr Dasmunsi said it is shocking that the leader of the Opposition issued an unsigned statement to the Prime Minister.

The minister said Mr Advani could have telephoned the Prime Minister to convey his views instead of issuing a statement simultaneously to him and to the media.

It was not in good taste, he said.
