Youth Cong protest edu system in Gujarat

Surat, June 29: The city Youth Congress today organised a demonstration at the collector's office to protest the current educational system prevailing in Gujarat.

The agitators later submitted a memorandum to the district collector, which was received by additional deputy collector J B Patel, in the absence of collector.

In the memorandum, the Youth Congress have alleged that the new text books for standard 5 and 6 are not available in the market and these books are steeply priced.

The Youth Congress also alleged that Gujarat government was not following the national system of education.

The demonstration was led by Youth Congress city leader Jayesh Lilyawala.
