TCS to invest Rs 1400 crore for tech, infrastructure upgradation
Mumbai, Jun 29 (UNI) Software services company, Tata Consultancy Services will make a capex investment of Rs 1,400 crore for the financial year 2007-08.
''We will be investing a sum of Rs 850 million in upgrading infrastructure whereas the remaining amount will be invested on technology upgradation,'' TCS CEO S Ramadorai said today on the sidelines of the Annual General Meeting here.
TCS has over 89,000 of the world's best trained IT consultants in 47 countries. The company generated consolidated revenues of USD 4.3 billion for the fiscal year ended 31 March this year.
