SWR diverts, reschedules, cancels trains due to derailment
Bangalore, June 29 (UNI) The South Western Railway (SWR) today rescheduled or diverted some trains due to derailment of a freight train yesterday on Gooty-Dharmavaram section in the Guntakhal division of the South Central Railway (SCR).
Some other trains had been rescheduled due to late running of its pairing trains, according to a SWR release here.
Train No 1014 Coimbatore-Kurla Lokmanya Tilak Express was rescheduled to leave Coimbatore at 1800 hrs today, instead of 0800 hrs and diverted to run via Jolarpettai, Renigunta, Guntakhal and Wadi.
Train No 6530 Bangalore City-Chhatrapati Sivaji Terminus Udyan Express was be rescheduled to leave Banglore at 2330 hrs instead of 2020 hrs.
Train No 6513 Yeswantapur-Bagalkot Basava Express would be leaving Yeswantapur at 2200 hrs instead of 1645 hrs. Train No 8564 Bangalore City-Bhubaneswar Prasanthi Express was be rescheduled to leave the city at 1900 hrs instead of 1400 hrs.
The SWR release said five trains had been diverted through different routes due to derailment. Train No 2976 Jaipur-Mysore Express, which left Jaipur and the Karnataka Express which left Delhi on June 27 would be diverted to run via Guntakhal and Bellary.
Train No 2650 Nizammuddin-Yeswantapur Sampark Kranti Express, which left Nizammuddin on June 28 were be diverted via Gooty, Renigunta, Arakkonam and Jolarpettai. Train No 2785 Kacheguda- Bangalore City Express which left Kacheguda on June 28 were diverted via Guntakhal, Bellary, Rayadurg and Arsikere.
Trains Nos 7603 and 7604 Kacheguda-Yeswantapur-Kacheguda Express trains had been cancelled today.
