Moderate rain turns local weather pleasant

Kolkata, Jun 29 (UNI) Light shower today made the weather pleasant, pulling down mercury to normal level.

The city experienced maximum temperature of 30.8 degrees Celsius with two degree deviation, while the minimum was normal 26.5 degree Celsius, Met sources said.

According to the Met department, maximum humidity was recorded at 95 per cent and the minimum was 75 per cent.

Rainfall stood at 5.1 mm.

Weathermen predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of one or two spells of light to moderate rain or thundershower during the next 24 hours.
