Mizoram gets Central assistance under SGRY
New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) The Ministry of Rural Development has released a grant-in-aid amount of Rs 1.55 crore for four districts of Mizoram.
According to an official release issued here today, this grant is given as Central assistance for the implementation of the Sampoorna Gramin Rozar Yojna (SGRY) during the current financial year of 2007-2008. These four districts are Aizawl, Kolasib, Mamit and Serchhip.
The grant is towards plan expenditure and will be utilized for approved items of works subject to the conditions laid down in the SGRY Guidelines. No deviation from the provisions of the Guidelines is permissible.
The expenditure on implementation of the programme with regard to cash component is to be shared on 75:25 basis between the Central and the State Government respectively, the release added.
