Mumbai: M B N Rao chairs Indian Banks Association
Mumbai, June 29: Canara Bank Chairman M B N Rao will take over as chairman of the Indian Banks Association (IBA).
Mr Rao, who will chair the organization for the period 2007-08, is succeeding IDBI chairman V P Shetty, whose term will come to an end this month, said an IBA release.
Dr. A K Khandelwal, Chairman, Bank of Baroda, Mr T S Narayanasami, Chairman, Bank of India and Mr. Sanjay Nayar, CEO, Citibank have been elected as Deputy Chairmen of the association.
Citizen Credit Co-operative Bank CEO V J Carneiro will take over as the honorary Secretary of the Association.
