Konkankanya and Mandovi Exp to run with 2 additional coaches
Mumbai, Jun 29 (UNI) Konkankanya Express and Mandovi Express trains, which run between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus and Madgaon in Goa will now run with two additional coaches from July 1, a Konkan Railway release said here today.
With this, both the trains now will have 23 coaches instead of 21 coaches, and thus will provide more accommodation to passengers. The extra coaches, which have been added are one second class sleeper coach and one 3-tier AC coach, the release said.
The Konkankanya Express boasts of an occupancy of more than 110 per cent while Mandovi Exp has an average occupancy of over 82 per cent.
