Greenpeace demonstrates innovative uses for light bulb

Bangalore, June 29 (UNI) Greenpeace today demonstrated several innovative uses for the light bulb at the Philips Innovation Centre here.

Greenpeace activists said that light bulb should not be used for lighting anymore and showcased creative alternatives of the incandescent light bulbs, like a range of bulb accessories and home decor items.

As part of the 'ban on bulb' campaign which greenpeace started on April this year, leading bulb manufacturers in India had been asked to phase out production of the hazardous light bulb.
