CPI(M) condemns privatisation of sugarmills
Lucknow, Jun 29 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist) today condemned the state government's decision of privatising 28 sugarmills of Uttar Pradesh.
CPI(M) state secretary S P Kashyap said the decision of the government was not in favour of people and the poor will be affected the most.
Mr Kashyap recalled that the goverment had earlier caused sufferings to the farmers and labourers by putting 36 mills under Sugar Corporation.
He noted, if private players could overcome hardships and run the mills efficiently, why could not goverment do the same.
