Andhra Pradesh: Award for comedian Sutti Velu

Vijayawada, June 29: Well known comedy actor in Telugu films Sutti Velu will be presented with the late comedian Sutti Veerabhadra Rao memorial award on the occasion of the 61st birth anniversary of Rao.

The award, carrying a purse of Rs 5,000, would be presented by Abhiruchi, a literary and cultural association, at a function organised at Hanumantaraya Grandhalayam here tomorrow, Abhiruchi President Krishnaji told UNI today.

Stage player and composer Pusala and Director Sarath would be the chief guests at the function to felicitate Velu, who had acted in more than 200 Telugu films and TV serials, he said.
