VHP to work for unity between Gujjar and Meena communities

Jaipur, June 28 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) will make efforts to avert possible confrontation between Gujjar and Meena community over the issue of inclusion of Gujjar community into ST list.

Talking to reporters here today VHP General Secretary Dr Pravin Togadia said that his outfit would like to work to create an atmosphere of mutual understanding and harmony between the two commanities.

He said that every community and caste had right to talk of its welfare, betterment and progress but this should be achieved without confronting with other communities within Hindu society.

He said that VHP would plan appropriate progamme for creating harmony between Meenas and Gujjars and the same might be announced in the next few days.
