Ten killed in road accident in Bihar

Patna, June 28: Ten people were killed and at least 15 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and an autorickshaw near Mushari bridge under Harnauth police station area on National Highway 31 in Nalanda district late last night.

Police Superintendent Amit Kumar today said the accident took place as the driver of the autorickshaw lost control of the vehicle and it collided with the bus.

Some of the seriously injured passengers were rushed to Patna Medical College Hospital while others undergoing treatment at Harnauth hospital.

The bus was on its way to Chaibasa from Patna while the autorickshaw was going to Amarpur from Bhaganbigha.
