Pfizer Q2 profit jumps seven-fold at Rs 257.76 cr

New Delhi, June 28: Pharma major Pfizer Ltd has posted a 619 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 257.76 crore for the second quarter ended May 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 35.89 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

Company's total income grew by 140 per cent at Rs 189.79 crore for Q2FY07 as against Rs 455.75 crore in the same quarter last year, a statement said.
