Nitish down with flu,cancels engagements till tomorrow

Patna, June 28 (UNI) All official engagements of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have been cancelled till tomorrow following his sudden indisposition since last night.

Sources at the chief minister's Secretariat here today informed that Mr Kumar, who went on a day-long trip to Gaya and Bodh Gaya yesterday to look into allegation of felling of a branch of the sacred Bodhi Tree, reported uneasiness and fever.

Doctors attending him said he was suffering from flu and advised him rest during the next 48 hours.

Accordingly, his scheduled meeting with visiting Italian Ambassador Antonio Armellili and all other programmes till tomorrow have since been cancelled, the sourcres added.
