Nirma Q4 net loss slips by 162.3 per cent

New Delhi, June 28: Detergents and toiletries manufacturer Nirma Ltd today announced a net loss of 162.3 per cent to register at Rs 93.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to net loss Rs 35.62 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

The company has posted a net profit also slipped by 55.08 per cent to Rs 108.41 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 241.38 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.

Total income has increased by 16.33 per cent to Rs 2260.18 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 compared to Rs 1942.82 crore for the corresponding last fiscal.
