Govt warns against irregularities in minority scholarships

Lucknow, June 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has warned against irregularities in distribution of minority scholarship in the state.

Chairing a departmental meeting here, secretary, Minority Welfare and Haj, Iftikharuddin also directed the concerned officers to exercise restraint in its disbursement.

He said progress report should be forwarded to the state government for the modernisation of madarsas.

The district welfare officers have also been directed to esnure the distribution of Haj forms free of cost.
