Goods train derails in AP; Train services disrupted

Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh, June 28 (UNI) As many as 15 bogies of a goods train carrying cement bags derailed near Kallur Village of Garladinne Mandal of the district today.

The Railway authorities said the train on its way to Bangalore derailed suddenly completely damaging the tracks.

The rescue teams swung into action to clear the derailed bogies from the tracks. Meanwhile, trains proceeding towards Bangalore were diverted.

Two trains Hindupur-Guntakal and Guntur-Yashwanthpur trains were cancelled.
