Dist APHC manager held, assets seized in raids

Visakhapatnam, June 28 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested an Official of the Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation (APHC) on the charge of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police K Koteswara Rao told UNI that APHC District Manager G Satyanarayana was arrested following simultaneous raids at his house in the city, his father's house at Yeerukonda village in Vizianagaram district and six other houses owned by his family members.

Assets to the tune of Rs 50 lakh, including cash gold and siver ornaments besides documents pertaining to houses and farmland were seized during the raids, he added.
