Smuggler held with 22.5 kg 'charas'

Siddharthnagar, June 27 (UNI) A Nepali smuggler was arrested today with 'charas', estimated at about Rs 23 lakh, at the international market in this district bordering Nepal.

Superintendent of Police P K Srivastava told UNI Dev Narayan of Kapilvastu district, Nepal, was nabbed at Mioliya area, when he was taking the consignment to Kanpur.

About 22.5 kg 'charas' was recovered from him.
