Mumbai: Rupee started at 40.97/98

Mumbai, June 27: Indian Rupee started at 40.97/98 against the US dollar, down by four paise as previous closed at 40.93/94.

Market opened with less activities in the morning and later on by 1230 hrs, the Indian unit fell beyond 41.05/06, during the course of trading, dealers said.
