Passenger falls sick, Jet flight makes emergency landing

Kolkata, June 27 (UNI) A Jet airways flight 9W-515 from Kolkata to Bangalore made an emergency landing today after a passenger fell sick on board.

Airport officials said half an hour after the flight departed at 0700 hours from here, Ashok Sarangi (52) complained of nausea and started vomiting.

The commander then decided to return to Kolkata, where the flight made an emergency landing on medical grounds at 0800 hours.

The doctors at the airport, who examined Sarangi, said the passenger was suffering from viral hepatitis and was admitted to a city hospital.
