The total rainfall recorded for the last 24 hours in the city is 10 mm at Colaba in south Mumbai and 11 mm at Santacruz in north Mumbai.
Moderate to rather heavy rainfall is likely to occur at most places over north-south central Maharashtra, Marathawada and Konkan region.
However, heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places is likely over north Konkan (except for greater mumbai) and south central Maharashtra during the next 24 hours.
The MET department has issued a warning to fishermen against venturing into the high seas for the next 24 hours, as southwesterly to westerly winds at a speed of 45-50 kmph temporarily reaching even 60 kmph in gusts, coupled with southwesterly waves will make the sea rough.
