ICICI Prudential Life ties-up with Sharekhan

Chennai, June 27: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, leading private life insurer, has announced a strategic distribution tie-up with Sharekhan, a leading retail brokerage house.

The partnership, established under the corporate agency model will enable Sharekhan to distribute ICICI Prudential Life's protection, wealth, creation, retirement solution and health insurance products to their customers across the country, a company release here today said.

Over the years, Sharekhan has established itself as a broker and financial advisor and has a large customer base that trusts it for knowledge and expertise in financial services.

With this partnership, they can now offer their customers the added benefit of life insurance solutions from ICICI.

"Sharekhan, with its expertise in the area, is an ideal partner for us. We are sure that this partnership will help Sharekhan's customers to reach us through a channel they already trust," Tarun Chugh, chief bancassurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance said.

ICICI has a multi-channel distribution strategy to reach customer.

In addition to the advisor channel, the company has distribution arrangements with established banks and large retail finance distributors, which contribute about 40 per cent of the company's business, the release added.
