Manipur: Ibobi to expand ministry on Jun 27

Imphal, June 27: The much awaited expansion of the Okram Ibobi Singh government will be held today evening at the Raj Bhawan banquet hall.

Chief Minister O Ibobi had returned from New Delhi yesterday.

Congress leaders said the Chief Minister came back yesterday along with three Cabinet ministers, Phungzathang Tonsing, TN Haokip and Allauddin Khan.

Officials said Mr O Ibobi also discussed various issues with Governor Dr SS Sidhu yesterday.

Six more ministers can be inducted into the ministry and speculations are rife about those who would be inducted into the ministry. The Ibobi ministry was formed in February last and the first ministry expansion was effected in March last.
