IAS aspirant commits suicide

Farrukhabad, June 27 (UNI) Peeved at perceived bad performance in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) examination, an IAS aspirant today committed suicide by shooting himself.

Police said Rizwan (25) had recently appeared for the examination and was not satisfied with his performance.

This afternoon, Rizwan shot himself with the licensed gun of his father at Fatehgarh Colony.

His father Ashfaq Khan is employed as a clerk with the collectorate.

Investigations were on.
