Haseena's name figures in another SRA project
Mumbai, Jun 27 (UNI) Dawood Ibrahim and his sister Haseena were today named in a fresh FIR in the SRA scheme case registered with Vakola Police Station in the western suburbs of this metropolis.
The duo were named in the FIR filed by one Abdul Razzak Khan who stated that he was threatened to leave the plot on behalf of Haseena Parkar and Dawood Ibrahim by one Amir Shaad, believed to be the relative of Parkar and few other persons.
The plot, situated at Kalina area at Santa Cruz was purchased by one Mr Yakub Khan of M/s City developers. He had appointed Khan (applicant) to form Cooperative Housing Society of slum dwellers of that locality.
Shaad told Khan that builder Akhtar Rizvi and his son Abiz Rizvi were also interested in the same plot of land and, therefore, he should stay away as he was an obstruction in achieving their illegal motives.
However, Shaad made a counter FIR on June 20, this year. Fearing arrest, Abdul Razak and others moved an Anticipatory Bail application.
City Civil and Session Court Principal Judge Ashok Bhangale adjourned the matter till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Judge Bhangale has also adjourned hearing of revision application of Anti Extortion Cell (AEC) seeking cancellation of Haseena's Bail application in an alleged extortion and cheating case in SRA scheme related issue also adjourned till tomorrow.
Haseena, sister of mafia fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim, was released on bail of Rs 25,000 on May 24 this year by the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate V K Sharma.
The prosecution case is that Haseena Parkar had threatened an estate agent Vinod Avalani and refused to return his Rs 30 lakh which was paid to two builders for a slum redevelopment project deal at Wadala in southcentral Mumbai. The deal had, however, failed to take off.
