Excise cop on duty breathes last

Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, June 27 (UNI) An excise police constable died after he accidentally slipped into an open well while chasing those distilling liquor illegally at Chengadu village in this district of Tamil Nadu, today.

Police said Ramesh (38) was attached to the Vikrapandi police station.

The body was recovered and sent to the Villupuram Government Hospital for post-mortem.
