Bhopal, June 27 (UNI) The Congress has suspended party worker O P Agrawal from primary membership of the party for releasing a poster in Shivpuri district depicting Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia as Arjuna and party leader Mahendra Singh Kalukheda as Lord Krishna.

Meanwhile, a two-member committee -- including former MLA Vinod Daga and Burhanpur district Congress president Ajay Raghuvanshi -- had been formed to look into the recent matter of Congress President Sonia Gandhi being portrayed as horse-borne Rani Lakshmibai in a calendar published in Jabalpur.

Former MLA Kailash Sonkar, former corporator Ramsingh Jat and Lakshmi Ben were suspended recently from the party for showing Ms Gandhi carrying Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi -- depicted as a child peering out of a bundle -- on her back.

The calendar also has a poem in the Congress President's praise.

Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh said depicting political leaders as Gods and Goddesses was wrong and should be discouraged.
