Bharat net up 23.18% in FY07

New Delhi, June 27 (UNI) Bangalore-based Bharat Electronics Ltd has posted 23.18 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 718.16 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007, as compared to Rs 583.01 crore last fiscal.

The total income of the company increased from Rs 3,654.86 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 4,149.05 crore this year, a statement said.

Bharat Electronics Ltd is engaged in the design development and manufacture of sophisticated electronics equipments/components for the use of defence services, para military organisations and other governmental users.

UNI
