Balamuralikrishna's concert at Tirumala in June

Tirupati, June 27 (UNI) Renowned vocalist and musician Dr Balamuralikrishna will perform a classical music concert at the Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala tomorrow, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B Karunkara Reddy said.

Addressing a press conference here yesterday, he said the TTD would conduct a 5-day ''Varuna Yagnam'' for the welfare of farmers.

Answering a question that the Andhra Pradesh Public Accounts Committee (PAC) felt that no inquiry was necessary into special treatment given by the TTD to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai during their visit to Tirumala temple, the TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary, who also participated in press conference, said he was answerable to the TTD Board, which asked him to conduct a probe.

The decision to call off the enquiry would be taken only after receiving orders to this effect from the State Government, he added.
