Asian ADRs edge lower, energy stocks down

HONG KONG, June 27 (Reuters) Asian stocks listed on Wall Street <.bkas> ended a touch lower, declining for a third session as U.S. shares continued to weaken on worries about the subprime mortgage market.

A near 2 percent drop in oil prices knocked energy firms down. China's top offshore oil and gas producer CNOOC fell 3.8 percent while Australia's oil and gas producer Santos shed 2.4 percent.

MSCI's measure of Asia Pacific stocks excluding Japan <.msciapj> slipped 0.6 percent on Tuesday to a one-week closing low.
