Advani to launch thermal unit in MP

Bhopal, Jun 27 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani will launch the first 500 MW unit of the Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station at Birsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh's Umaria district tomorrow.

Mr Advani will reach Jabalpur from New Delhi via a special aircraft at 1100 hours. He will reach Mangthar Birsinghpur from Jabalpur via helicopter at 1200 hours, as per a party release issued here today.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Power Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya would be present on the occasion.

After inaugurating the new plant, Mr Advani will leave Birsinghpur for Jabalpur in a helicopter at 1545 hours. He would depart for New Delhi from Jabalpur via a special aircraft at 1630 hours.
