4 traders killed after mini-truck overturns

Siddharthnagar, June 27 (UNI) At least four traders were killed and six others injured after a mini-truck they were travelling in overturned in a gorge near Chiniha area here yesterday, police said today.

Police said the mishap occurred on Naugarh-Badhni highway yesterday, when the driver of the mini-truck lost control over the wheels.

Three passengers, identified as Hanuman, Chutkau and Mehfuz died on the spot, while Monu Ram later succumbed.

Six injured in the incident were rushed to a hospital, where condition of two was reported critical. The driver fled the scene.

According to police, the deceased were residents of Shravasti district.
