3 arrested for attacking policeman

Basti, June 27 (UNI) At least four armed miscreants today attacked the Kalwari station in charge here.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Anand Swaroop said the miscreants fired upon Tribhuwan near Khamariya village, when he intercepted them on suspection.

Mangal Dubey, Akhilesh and Rajman were nabbed, whereas one managed to escape.

A countrymade pistol and few cartridges were recovered from their possession.

A case had been registered in this regard.
