TRS will intensify agitation on GO 610 implementation

Hyderabad, June 26 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao today said his party would intensify the agitation till the government implements the GO 610 and repatriates non-local employees from Telangana region.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Rao alleged that the government was not committed to the implementation of the GO and demanded the government to start the process immediately.

Objecting to the dharna conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association (APNGO) demanding the government to create supernumerary posts and retain them, the TRS President said the APNGOs were insulting the people and employees of the Telangana by resorting to dharna.

He said the real intentions of the political parties came out when they extended support to the dharnas conducted by the APNGOs.

He said the TDP, which brought the GO in 1985, had insulted the people and employees of Telangana by extending its support to the APNGO dharna.

Mr Rao said though the TDP was in power for 14 years it did not take any step to implement the GO and misled the people of Telangana by constituting the committees on it and drag on the issue.

He criticised the APNGO for asking the government to book cases against the TRS leaders who requested Andhra Employees working in Telangana region to go to their native places by conducting counselling.
