Nazeem alleges over Puducherry Secretariat functioning

Puducherry, June 26 (UNI) Karaikal District DMK convener and leader of the opposition A M H Nazeem today alleged that the functioning of the government Secretariat had paralysed for the past few months.

In a statement here, Mr Nazeem pinpointing the education Secretariat listed out various lapses, including the implementation of ACP to the teachers, provision of senior scale to school librarians.

He claimed that the aided school teachers were working without salary for the last four months and wondered, why the government could not earmark an amount for the purpose as was being done for the salary of government school teachers.

The situation in the administrative, personnel reforms department and the law department were equally bad, he said the present situation was creating embarassment to the coalition partners.

He sought the intervention of Lt Governor and Chief Minister to set things right.
