Youth fears drowned at Science city

Barrackpore, Jun 24 (UNI) Twenty-year-old Iqbal Ahmed of East Topsia was feared drowned in a pond at Science city in East Kolkata this morning, police said.

The class ten student, who went to take bath along with some of his friends after playing cricket, went missing in the pond.

Search for the body was on when the report came in as local councillor Javed Khan was leading a search operation deploying two boats with fishing nets.
