Ten SOG men wounded in Kashmir landmine explosion
Srinagar, June 24 (UNI) A roadside bomb wounded ten personnel of the Special Operation Group (SOG), a counter-insurgency wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, on the city outskirts early today.
Police said they were travelling in a vehicle when the landmine exploded at Makhdoom Colony, Malroo near Mujgund, Shalteng, about 10 km from here, at around 0510 hrs.
They said the SOG personnel were returning from a raid when the blast occurred. The vehicle was also damaged in the explosion.
The identity of the wounded was being ascertained.
